Best Management Practice
Progress Report

Best Management Practice Progress ReportState agencies are tracking the level of implementation of nutrient reduction practices across the State in order to measure Tributary Strategies progress. The reports listed below include information about Best Management Practices (BMPs) implemented through June 1998. In the reports, we’ve included BMP definitions, annual and cumulative implementation rates, nutrient removal efficiencies, and some general guidelines for interpreting each BMPs importance to our Statewide nutrient reduction strategy. We hope that you will find this information useful as we begin to identify ways to close the gap to our 40% reduction goals and to meet perhaps even more stringent goals in the future.
