Corsica Watershed Awareness Day to be Held in Centreville
DNR Secretary C. Ronald Franks will attend Corsica Watershed Awareness Day on Saturday, November 4, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., at the Bloomfield Farm in Centreville (Rt. 213 between North Brook and White Marsh Road). The event is designed to encourage citizens within the watershed to participate in restoration efforts. Sponsored by Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation Department, the Corsica River Conservancy and the Town of Centreville, the event will have restoration booth displays, tours of the farm and house, hayrides and kids activities, and the chance to win a sunset cruise on the Corsica River.
