Maryland Natural Resources Police Investigate Fair Hill Shooting

FAIR HILL — The Maryland Natural Resources Police continue to investigate the shooting of a Delaware man that took place on Monday morning, November 27, at the Double Trouble Stable in Fair Hill.

Juan Lopez, 48, of Wilmington, Del., was shot at 5:30 a.m. as he arrived at work. Lopez is employed at the stable. Lopez was transported to Christiana Hospital in critical but stable condition. Suspects in the shooting are described as two black males in a small black vehicle. Police believe the suspects followed Lopez to work.

The Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Maryland State Police are continuing a joint investigation. Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact Maryland Natural Resources Police, Sgt. Eisenhauer at 410-260-8888.
