Environmental Education Grant Program
Now Accepting Applications

CBT is now accepting applications for its Environmental Education Program! The Trust seeks to increase environmental stewardship though hands on education and public involvement in the Bay and its rivers by providing grants that build and expand K through 12 environmental education programs and increase student access to "Meaningful Watershed Experiences".

Proposals must be received in the Trust’s office no later than 5:00 P.M. December 5, 2008. To learn more about the Environmental Education Grant Program, or to apply, click here.

A Message from Governor O'Malley

As one part of the State of Maryland’s commitment to re-connecting children and nature, Governor O’Malley has signed the Partnership for Children in Nature Executive Order. This Executive Order forms a public-private partnership that aims to provide structured and unstructured play activities for children in the outdoors.
