TEAM DNR is a volunteer program dedicated to educating elementary and middle school students about the Chespeake Bay and other natural resource issues in Maryland. Our volunteers come from different backgrounds but all have a strong desire to help students understand and care for their natural environment. Their efforts provide an important link between DNR and schools around the state.

Since its inception, TEAM DNR volunteers have delivered over 1000 classroom programs and have reached more than 34,000 students in Maryland. During its initial year, TEAM DNR was piloted in Anne Arundel County schools. The program was well received by teachers and students alike. Based on this success and a new influx of volunteers, TEAM DNR has expanded to meet the needs of teachers in most every county in Maryland.
