Myrtle Grove Snakeheads
Location: Myrtle Grove Wildlife Management Area Pond
Here are photos of two snakeheads that were caught in one of the Myrtle Grove Wildlife Management Area ponds. The specific pond is located in the lower end of the tract of land along MD route 225 near the waste water treatment facility. These two fish were caught in the last of the five ponds and were about fourteen to sixteen inches in length. Both fish were destroyed and not released into the waters of the ponds.
