Cages will be Placed in Whitehall Creek as Part of Marylanders Grow Oysters Program

Students from the Chesapeake Montessori School will help to place oyster cages with spat into Whitehall Creek near Annapolis. The children will monitor these cages, maintaining and studying them at Hollywood Farms over the next year. They will learn about oyster growth, other aquatic life and water quality throughout the growth cycle.
