DNR Snakehead Drawing Clarification

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) would like to clarify the rules and prizes for the Second Annual Snakehead Contest. There is no cash reward for catching and killing a snakehead. DNR will draw three names at random from the list of anglers entered to win a $200 gift certificate to Bass Pro Shops, a 2013 Maryland State Parks Pass or a 2013 Potomac River Fishing license provided by the Potomac River Fisheries Commission. This contest is only open to recreational anglers. To enter, anglers submit a photo of the snakehead they caught and killed to the Anglers Log at dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/fishingreport/log.asp. Anglers do not need to bring their catch to a citation award center to win.

DNR will draw the winning names on November 30, 2012.
