Outdoor Discovery CampOutdoor Discovery is a residential (Monday – Friday) co-ed tent camping experience at various Maryland state parks. Activities range from rock climbing/rappelling, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, caving, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, arts & crafts, and other outdoor educational opportunities. Youth ages 8 – 17 can experience the natural environment, while learning outdoor living skills. Transportation is provided from 3 areas of Maryland. Natural Resources Club Day CampThe campers spend Mondays in the Tawes Garden doing nature and crafts activities. The remainder of the week is spent enjoying field trips to various parks and nature centers. Children can attend only one session each summer. Sessions are Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. |
