| Natural Features | Deer Creek is a Maryland State Scenic Creek that is a popular put and take trout fishing site. Surrounding the creek are hills with mature hardwood forest. |
| Historic/Cultural Features | The former Ma and Pa Railroad bed transverses the creek. This railroad was a route for the dairy industry from 1860's to 1958. |
