Trail Access The red and blue trails can be accessed at the concession stand by Herrington Manor Lake or by the boat ramp.

The green trail can be accessed behind the backstop at the ballfield near the tennis courts.

The yellow trail can be accessed from the green trail, behind the office or from the road to the concession stand.

Parking is available at the day use area.

Camping Swallow Falls State Park offers 65 wooded campsites with modern bathhouses. Swallow Falls campground closed Dec. 15 through April 15.
Potomac-Garrett State Forest offers 36 primitive campsites, located in Snaggy Mountain Recreation Area.
Other Points of Interest Nine miles of mountain biking trails designated with fluorescent green blazes in the Potomac-Garrett State Forest.
5.5 mile, one-way trail, between Herrington Manor State Park and Swallow Falls State Park.
Four water falls in Swallow Falls State Park.
Several watchable wildlife areas in Potomac-Garrett State Forest.
Fees or Permits Camping fee and day use fees $2 per person Memorial Day through Labor Day and $2 per vehicle the remainder of the year.
Description These trails are generally double track and grass covered. The terrain is varied with some hill climbing and several areas are soft during wet spells.
