Patuxent River Greenwell State Park

River Trail Trek

The Quest at Greenwell State Park is an easy and short self-guided walk through the grounds of the beautiful Rosedale Manor House and a fun scavenger hunt for letters that unscrambled form the answer to the Quest question. The hike along the River Trail is a delightful three-quarter mile walk that winds down to the pier, around the point along the river shoreline, and through woods, fields and the Manor House grounds. Along the way you will pass Quest signs featuring native animals that will give the clues for the missing letters.
