Take advantage of this huge savings. Buy now and enjoy the pass through December 31, 2009.
Purchase the Maryland State Park Passport on-line through this website.

  • Youth Group Pass -- Entitles youth groups free day use admittance to Maryland State Parks and free camping in those parks that have designated "Youth Group" areas subject to site availability. This pass is not valid for day use entry on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

  • Golden Age Pass -- Entitles adults, ages 62 and older, free entry (cardholders only) to all State Parks that charge service fees. This pass does not waive the additional boat launch service charge except where the launch charge is included in the day use service charge. The pass is also valid for half price camping Sunday through Thursday.

  • Access Maryland Pass -- Entitles free lifetime entry to State Parks for individuals with disabilities.

Maryland's Parks Are Trash-Free

In order to promote and encourage recycling, reduction of waste and reuse of our resources, all trash barrels, receptacles and dumpsters have been removed from picnic and beach areas. Visitors to day-use areas are provided with bags when they enter parks and are asked to take home their own refuse. Please pack your picnic in reusable containers and help us keep our parks clean.

Volunteers

Volunteers play an important part in helping to maintain and operate Maryland's state parks and forests. If you would like to join our volunteer team ask a ranger about the programs which are available such as Volunteer Ranger, Camp Host, or Volunteer in Parks (VIP).

Park Watch

Help protect and preserve your state forests and parks by reporting any suspicious activities, vandalism or safety hazards. Contact a ranger or call 1-800-825-PARK(7275).

TTY users may call via Maryland Relay at 1-800-735-2258 or 711.

Special Programs

Ask at the park office about special programs such as Junior Rangers, Outdoor Adventures, Scales & Tales, the Drug-Free Trail or the Maryland Conservation Corps.
