Why Support the Camp?
The Outdoor Discovery Camp is a non-profit organization that relies on camper fee registration, grants, and donations to make each camp experience the best possible. All sources of income go directly to pay for staff, training, equipment, transportation, food, outside activities, camp giveaways, and our campership program. The campership program, similar to a scholarship, is a financial gift to an at-risk city youth for a weeklong stay at our camp. We pride ourselves on giving each camper an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate the many natural wonders Maryland has to offer. Unfortunately without grants and donations, we are many times unable to provide this experience. Help us continue to give back by giving a part of yourself.
