Park campgrounds are now open!
After a long winter break, spring marks the re-opening of our campgrounds for the season! Whether you prefer getting away and into the great outdoors with tent camping or enjoy some of the comforts of home in a full-service cabin, there is something for everyone in Maryland’s State Parks. We also have paddle-in campsites for the kayak enthusiasts and there are even a few yurts out in the mountains! The Maryland Park Service offers more than 2,000 campsites, 120 full-service and camper cabins, and 100 picnic shelters across the State! Be sure to make your camping reservations ahead of time online: parkreservations.maryland.gov

Consider becoming a Camp Host!
Do you love camping and want to volunteer your time in a state park? Then a camp host position might be right for you! Camp Hosts receive a free campsite in exchange for their service at the park of their choice. Many of Maryland’s parks are currently accepting applications for Camp Hosts for the summer season!
