Project WILD, Project WET, and Project Learning Tree Facilitator Workshop

Are you interested in leading your own Project WILD, Project WET and/or Project Learning Tree workshops to train other educators? To become a volunteer Maryland facilitator, you must have participated in the 6 hour educator workshop for each of the projects in which you want to become a facilitator. Verification will be required, and a pre-workshop "homework" assignment will be given. You may be certified in one, two or three of the available workshops.

Please be sure to bring your books to the training and bring your own lunch. Snacks and materials will be provided. For more information on roles of a facilitator, click here.

Fee: FREE!

Audience: Anyone who has taken the educator training workshop and would like to learn how to facilitate their own educator workshops. Please note this is a volunteer position.

Project WILD

Learn how to teach K-12 students about wildlife and conservation using engaging and fun lessons! Throughout the day, educators will participate in hands-on Project WILD activities and learn about local resources. The Project WILD program has over 100 lessons in two curriculum guides.

The all new Aquatic WILD guide contains STEM connections, field investigations, and career connections. All participants who complete the workshop will receive the two guides upon workshop completion. Participants may be eligible to receive 1 MSDE Professional Development Credit when combined with other workshops.

Cost: $10 per person (includes Aquarium admission), please bring a bagged lunch
