to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Friends of Patuxent for the 2009-2010 Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp Design Contest. I agree to the following conditions concerning reproduction rights if my design is selected:

1. Ownership of the original design and all copyrights shall be retained by me except as outlined in the following.
2. By signing this agreement I agree to provide the DNR, the use of the art for the printing of the stamp, and for the reproduction in DNR publications and the DNR Internet website relating to migratory game bird season and publicity for future Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp Design Contests and related stamp revenue projects.
3. The design, as prepared by me and submitted to DNR/Friends of Patuxent, may be retained by the DNR until such time as reproduction of the stamp has been completed.
4. By signing this agreement; I affirm that the entry is designed of my own creation, neither copied or duplicated  from any previously published art including paintings, drawings in any medium, photographs, or previously published work of my own; and if any entry is found to have been copies or duplicated, it shall be disqualified.
5. I understand that Maryland DNR, Friends of Patuxent, and the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center's National Wildlife Visitor's Center will not be held liable for any damage and/or loss to my entry(s), and I am responsible for providing adequate insurance at my own discretion.  
6. I affirm that I have read the rules governing this contest and agree to abide by them.

All migratory game bird hunters must possess a printed receipt showing proof of purchase of the $9 Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp while hunting migratory game birds. At the time of purchase, hunters may choose to receive the actual stamp by mail. Since its inception in 1974, over $4 million in stamp revenue has been used to create and improve waterfowl migration and wintering habitats.
